This page contains pictures from the Hummer Club Country Roads 2008 event in West Virginia. It was an exciting trip with some great trails. I don't have too many pictures though, and most of the ones I do have were taken through the windows of my H3 and didn't turn out all the great. Some of the better ones are shown below. The trails took us past everything from scenic overlooks to dilapidated structures on old coal mining property.

On the second day, we assisted in the rescue of a park ranger whos ATV had flipped over and rolled down an embankment into a small stream. Luckily, we had a doctor and fire-resuce professional on our trip, and they were able to stabalize him on a make-shuft backboard until paramedics arrived about 45 minutes later. As unfortunate as his accident was, it would have made a great OnStar commercial -- nobody's handheld mobile phones worked, but I was able to call for help using OnStar.
